The Mercersburg Academy is situated on a gorgeous 300-acre campus in historic Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, between two mountain ranges. The campus combines natural beauty and stately architecture with the best in high-tech sophistication. The campus offers easy access to plentiful outdoor recreation.
The center of athletics is Nolde Gymnasium, a comprehensive 10,000 square feet athletic complex that boasts a world-class fitness and wellness facility in addition to a wrestling/all-purpose room. Nolde also has a nine-lane swimming pool, three basketball courts, a new squash center, an indoor track, and locker rooms.
Outdoors, the Academy has 17 tennis courts, a 400-meter all-weather track, jumping pits, eight playing fields, an outdoor sand volleyball court, and our very own climbing wall.
In 2004, the Davenport Squash Center was built, providing Mercersburg with one of the most state of art high school squash facilities in the United States. The Davenport Squash Center contains 10 ASB glass-backed squash courts with several viewing venues.
"This is perhaps the most beautiful squash facility in the United States, as well as the most functional. Its skylights provide great natural lighting and its large windows look out onto the magnificent Pennsylvania landscape."
